The Sonic movie was obviously a huge success becoming the highest-grossing video game movie of all time. There are a few contributing factors to this but one major one is Jim Carrey’s Doctor Robotnik. Ever since that infamous first trailer of the movie came out, we knew Carrey was going to knock the role out of the park which was exactly the case. Because of this, it only makes sense for the idea of a spin-off for the mad scientist to cross through Paramount Pictures’ mind. Now, it is not necessarily confirmed that they are working on it but it is a possibility. It could be Robotnik doing recordings of his investigations in this new world (maybe he will even name it Mushroom Hill Zone). But what do you guys think?
